Streamshort is a Go backend for short-form video streaming with built-in creator monetization — letting independent creators upload, distribute and monetize content, while viewers get a curated short-video experience.

Architecture

Creator → Upload → Processing → Storage → HLS → Viewer

• API: authentication, user management, creator onboarding (including KYC), series/episode content management, and user interactions (likes, ratings, comments).
• Video delivery: signed upload URLs, HLS streaming served through CloudFront.
• Monetization: subscription payments and creator payouts via Razorpay.
• Infrastructure: AWS App Runner, ECR and CloudFront, with auto-scaling and built-in monitoring.
• CI/CD: every push to main builds, tests and deploys automatically via GitHub Actions.
